  Village Fiscal Year Quarterly Breakdown:
    -Q1 July/Aug/Sep
    -Q2 Oct/Nov/Dec
    -Q3 Jan/Feb/March
    -Q4 April/May/June

General rule of thumb for spreadsheet
-If the font is colored is should not changed
-Balances are propagated from one month to the next
-Monthly Assessment fees all reference the Unit Tab
   -Need date in file name
-Unit Owner names all reference the Unit tab
-Change the date on the Village Finical spreadsheet each time it is saved
-Change the date on the Unit, budget tab if modified
-Do not modify the owner name on the monthly tabs, Unit tab updates all
-Keep all tabs saved in the A1 position
   -Avoid using Misc. expense

2005 / 2006 Specific Notes:
Pls find attached Village 2005/2006 fiscal year spreadsheet file 'VillageBudget2005.2006_071205.xls'.
Pls use the attached template moving forward from 07/01/05 for the started of Village fiscal.

Please validate against actual invoice I have the total Insurance cost correct at $10,951.
Zeroed out spreadsheet, will need to be seeded with the closing numbers from the 2004/2005 fiscal.
The assessment fees have been updated and  have changed for all owners, as insurance cost has gone down
Updated the budget  tab with 2005/2006 budget numbers, approved at 06/25/05 Annual owner meeting
Updated the Unit tab per Annual owner meeting questionnaire Unit 226 Donahue and Unit 324 McCullough have gone from QTR to MON billing cycle

Note the last portion of the file name is a date, this portion of the file name should change with each distribution of the spreadsheet.
This is important for disaster recovery and for my archiving of the documents.
Keep all tabs saved in the A1 position.
If the font is in color, we should probably not be changing it

Only change owner names, assessment costs, and insurance cost from the unit tab, these values will be automatically pushed out to the monthly tabs.
If the unit tab is updated, ie new owner, change the date upper left corner, in this way we have revision history

Keep repair and monitoring/inspection/fixed cost split out on fire sprinkler expenses.

Use the comments on the budget tab as guidelines to what costs should go in what category.
Avoid using Misc. expense
Keep in mind bank loan is Bank payment + Contractor payment

Joe and Terri,  I need your suggestions and comments to continually improve our budget projections.
