Re:        Village Condo Units In Need of Window Replacement

Village unit owner-

Your unit has been identified as needing one or more windows replaced before vinyl siding installation begins in April of 2005.  Please see below for details specific to your unit, your replacement costs and authorization form.

 

For your convince we are scheduling a bulk order and window replacement with our contractor All Season Siding for the best price point on replacement window costs and to insure your units windows are replaced before vinyl siding installation begins.  Replacing windows prior to siding installation will certainly allow us an Association, and you as owners, to save money. Per our bylaws and declarations windows are replaced at owners cost. All Season Siding will be billing the owners directly. Mandatory window replacement was voted on and approved by the owners at the 2002 Village Association Annual owners meeting, with completion of all window replacement by 2005 vinyl installation.

Please allow us to help you as we continue to provide quality improvements to our association’s buildings. It is in the best interest of every owner to comply with the aforementioned project to ensure our costs are kept to a minimum, to ensure that our building is safe, secure and weather proof, and to ensure that our buildings hold the best appearance possible. Also, and most importantly, we need your approval to replace windows at the owner’s expense prior to project initiation. Please note again that this is not an optional project, but mandatory based on the vote from the 10/26/2002 Village Association Meeting. Attached is a list sorted by unit of the windows that need replacing. Please peruse the list and note any changes, misprints and if possible, provide measurements based on the measurements provided by All Seasons at the end of this document. It would be a real shame to have new vinyl siding along with rotted and deteriorated windows remaining in our complexes.

Just another reason why you need to replace your windows now to be included in the bulk order and before the vinyl siding installation begins for your best pricing on installed new windows.

Owners Windows Replacement Authorization Form

 

I owner of Village Condominium unit _________authorize the Village Association to order and replace the following windows in my unit, at the owners cost, as indicated by the attached All Season Window Replacement Quote. All Season Siding and Windows will be billing you directly for the cost of your replacement windows. Once you authorize the Association to order windows for your unit our Property Agent, Joe Boylan will confirm/measure your units’ windows to be replaced before placing the order with All Season Siding and Windows.
